04-23-2013 — First time in Reno, won't be the last thanks to the Siena

I planned a trip to Reno for my boyfriends birthday to enjoy some good weather and have some fun. I shopped around online quite a bit and found the best rate for a nice looking hotel to be for the Siena.
I emailed the hotel to confirm our reservation and the lovely manager upgraded us to a fantastic room on the 9th floor overlooking the river since it was a birthday celebration. The room was so comfortable, clean and beautiful with a great view of the river and the city. When we checked in , the front desk also wished him a happy birthday. :) We ate at both the cafe ( TRY THE MONTE CRISTO SANDWICH! ) and Sushi Saga ( Saki Bombs!! ) which were both fantastic. If you sign up for the players card you get super rewards at the restaurants, but just mention it when you ask about specials because we could have saved a little at the cafe but since we didn't bring it up neither did they. Having a full Peets Coffee in the hotel was also pretty great after a late night drinking nearby! There was plentiful parking and it was a nice central location, a block or so away from most of the activity but that was actually quite nice. The gaming floor is not as big as some of the other casinos, but we did win a little so that is MUCH appreciated!!
Next time we come to Reno, we will no doubt stay here again.

Room Tip: If you are traveling for a special occasion - tell them! They do their best to make it special.

I have stayed at the Siena several times now and have been impressed each time. The staff is extremely helpful, the food is great, and the location is great. We also enjoyed our view from our room of the Truckee River - very peaceful! Overall - the best place to stay in Reno.

04-21-2013 — Good Location! Great service for small business meeting!

Held a 2 day meeting at the Siena for a small group. Teresa (planning and reserving) and Mary Lou (while onsite) were very attentive and the meeting was successful. Stayed at the hotel for a week and loved the convenient location. Although the casino itself was smoky, the odor did not impact the rest of the hotel. Loved that the gym was open 24/7. The room was very comfortable. This was my first trip to Reno and will recommend this hotel to others. The price was great, close walking to great restaurants, and a couple of good ones onsite! The complimentary shuttle service to/from airport was also a big plus.

04-19-2013 — Great Hotel

We have been going to the Siena since it was opened years ago. They are under new management as of a couple of years ago and have recently refurbished the property. In my opinion, the Siena is the nicest hotel in Reno. Just across the Truckee River from downtown is a great location - Riverwalk, ice skating / roller skating ring a block away. Restaurants are really good and the casino is relatively small and smoke free unless someone fires up right next to you. We are in Reno at least monthly and the Siena is always our first choice.

03-30-2013 — Love this place!!

My buddies and I decided to stay at this place for March Madness. It was a great place to watch some basketball games and the room was awesome. The tables for blackjack and craps always had open spaces and it was great to not have to wait for a table to play. I love the new design of the place and the dealers and pit bosses were the best I have encountered. We will be booking our yearly trip at the Siena from now on.

03-27-2013 — Fantastic! By far the best hotel-casino in Reno!

My girlfriend and i stay at the Siena about once a month. The hotel is decorated very nicely! The rooms are always clean and never smell of smoke. I have stayed at the Silver Legacy and the El Dorado and hands down the Siena is far nicer.
This last stay we were upgraded to a suite, and it was amazing. The room was huge! beautiful lighting and furnishings, the jacuzzi tub was out of this world. The bathroom/ shower/ tub area was gigantic with beautiful marble tile. The bed is comfier then my bed at home and the pillows are amazing, in fact i am still trying to figure out how i can buy some of them to bring home. There were huge windows the looked over the Truckee river. Let's just say my girlfriend and i felt like rock stars and we were treated as if we were too.

The hotel staff is very kind and extremely accommodating.
The Siena has become a home away from home. Kimberley the hotel manager is amazing, Hillary at the front desk is always courteous, professional and helpful. Everyone in the hotel and Casino makes the effort to make you feel welcome, they even take the time to learn you name, Josh, Dale, Jim and Debbie are great pit bosses and the table dealers are all friendly and make your time gambling enjoyable.
I will never stay anywhere else in Reno. The price is well worth it, especially if you spend the $50 at check in to upgrade to a suite.
I have even got my dad and my friends hooked on the Siena. FYI sign up for their rewards card, it is well worth it, even if you don't gamble much. They send offers via the mail, and you would be surprised how great they are.

Thanks Siena for providing my girlfriend and I a home away from home, wonderful vacation spot. 

I recommend if you are coming to Reno to not waste your time anywhere else. You will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: The River side is always great. Spend the extra money for a suite, you will not regret it!

Love your hotel, thanks for a great weekend last weekend for St. Patrick's Day! We enjoyed DaVinci restaurant as well as the breakfast specials in the cafe...we love coming here to just get away and relax. The casino is small and not smoky, which is an added PLUS! Thanks, we'll see you again soon!
